Cookie Notice

The current Quanta launch build uses an essential session cookie for signed-in accounts. Advertising and optional analytics integrations are not enabled in this build.

Essential session cookie

After sign-in, Quanta exchanges a Firebase ID token for an HTTP-only session cookie. The server uses that cookie to recognize signed-in requests and protect dashboard routes. It is removed when you sign out and when account deletion succeeds.

Because this cookie is needed for the account and saved-calculation features, disabling it prevents those signed-in features from working. Public calculators remain available without signing in.

Browser storage and providers

Firebase Authentication may use browser storage needed to maintain authentication state and complete provider sign-in flows. The hosting provider may also use technical security mechanisms required to deliver and protect the application.

Advertising and analytics

The current build does not enable advertising placeholders unless an explicit environment flag is set, and no advertising network script is installed. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights are listed as post-deployment owner actions and were not enabled during this audit.

Before optional analytics or advertising cookies are introduced, this notice and any consent controls required by applicable law must be updated.
