This calculator linearly interpolates between the two nearest published points for ages that fall between anchors — a 1.5-year-old cat sits exactly halfway between the published 1-year value of 15 and the 2-year value of 24, giving 19.5 — and linearly extrapolates past the chart's final published point (21 years, 100 human years) using the same +4-per-year rate the chart already follows from age 2 onward, so a 25-year-old cat projects to 116. The life-stage classification applies the Vogt et al.
